Christi Hake
Christi Hake brings over 30 years of experience in the financial services industry to Smith Moore. She currently holds Series 7, 24, 63, and 65 licenses in addition to her Life and Health Insurance license.
Prior to joining Smith Moore on December 21, 2018, Christi was the managing principal and founder of Wealth Management Partners (WMP), LLC. Prior to WMP, Christi held various roles at Waddell and Reed, Edward Jones, Hancock Securities Group, Irwin Union Bank, Smith Barney, and Mercantile Bank including District Branch Manager, Branch Manager, Financial Advisor, Trust Officer, Private Banker, Human Resource Specialist, and Recruiter.
Christi always admired Smith Moore’s focus on outstanding client service, a tight-knit and welcoming team environment, and the enduring strength and stability of the firm with roots dating back to 1913. An established, full-service firm devoted to maintaining a collaborative, regional company culture was a very appealing combination.
Christi has helped increase the gross revenue of the Jefferson City Branch by 28% year over year. She has been instrumental to growing the company with her involvement in hiring of two financial advisors and helping to increase the company exposure by getting Smith Moore’s name out into the community.
Christi was added to the Smith Moore Board of Directors within four years of starting at the firm. She has assisted the board by leveraging her outside experience to provide a fresh set of eyes and a unique perspective to match her high energy and relational focused management style. Her prior expertise in management, recruiting, training, and growing a practice will help to take Smith Moore into the future.
Christi graduated from Southern Illinois University in Edwardsville, IL, where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in both Marketing and Business Management. She later went on to obtain her MBA from Webster University.
