Danny Moore

Danny Moore is a Financial Advisor at Smith Moore and has over four decades of experience in the financial services industry. Danny provides his clients with personalized, goals-based financial planning and investment guidance. He is dedicated to helping them plan effectively, make informed decisions, and develop fully integrated solutions to meet their priorities during different life stages.

Danny specializes in creating comprehensive, results-focused financial plans designed to allow clients to efficiently pursue long-term financial success and seamlessly transfer wealth to future generations. This includes designing and implementing a well-balanced, diversified investment portfolio for each client based on their individual’s objectives, risk tolerance, and time horizon for reaching their goals. He is committed to alleviating clients’ concerns about their finances and taking the emotion out of investing by putting a financial plan in place to keep them from overreacting during periods of market decline and growth.

Prior to joining Smith Moore, Danny was a Financial Advisor at Raymond James and Edward Jones. His career in the financial services industry includes working at Century Bank, Southeastern Savings Bank, and First State Bank, where he served as Community Branch President.

Danny graduated from the University of Southern Mississippi with a BS in Business Administration.

He and his wife, Marie, have three sons and are the proud grandparents of four grandsons and two granddaughters. Away from the office, Danny enjoys football at all levels (including fantasy), fishing, and keeping his spacious lawn in tip-top shape.
