When it comes to my clients, I believe the greatest measure of success is helping them achieve their financial goals.  Financial goals can vary from client to client, but ultimately, the attention paid to creating a personalized vision of one’s financial journey leads to a very unique experience for my clients.

The unique client experience starts with a straightforward process to build a client’s Financial Plan.  It is only after creating the client’s personalized path to and through retirement that we focus on generating investment recommendations that best align with achieving the client’s stated goals.  After the successful completion of these very important first two steps, we then turn our attention to addressing other wealth management issues such as Beneficiary Designations, Estate Planning, Insurance Needs Analysis, and Legacy Planning.  From the simple to the complex, addressing all wealth management issue my clients face is vitally important to ensuring that their experience on the journey we’ve envisioned during the Planning process fulfills all their needs, wants, and wishes.  Moreover, my clients can expect a standard of care that includes consistently monitoring and updating their Financial Plans throughout their journey to and through retirement.

Prior to joining Smith Moore, I spent nearly a decade in the Financial Services Industry as an Assurance Manager at PricewaterhouseCoopers and an Actuarial Analyst at Kansas City Life Insurance Company.  I earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree from Rockhurst University with a Finance/Accounting focus and a minor in Mathematics.  Subsequently, I completed a Master’s in Business Administration from Rockhurst University with a Finance/Accounting focus.

I currently live in Overland Park, KS with my wife of nearly 10 years, Jenny, and our son, Cooper.  Outside of work, I really enjoy spending time with my family and friends, taking the occasional spin around the golf course, and watching or attending as many Chiefs, Cardinals, Jayhawks, or Sporting KC events as my schedule allows.
