Thad Allen

Thad loves his job because, most days, it doesn’t feel like work. Throughout his nearly fifteen years of experience in the financial services industry, he has had the opportunity to partner with hundreds of people and witness real change in their lives that can impact the financial trajectory of future generations. Thad loves getting to see his clients travel, send family through higher education, and pass on or inherit wealth in healthy ways. He has a lot of fun doing it as he continues to serve both their financial needs and life goals.

At the young age of eight, Thad created his first business by building a paper route selling the Grit newspaper to his country neighbors. As a former restaurant owner and operator for fifteen years, Thad will say he went to the “school of hard knocks.” Prior to his experience in the restaurant business, he attended Washburn University in Topeka, Kansas, and is grateful for the education he earned both in school and through real-world experience.

Today, helping his clients achieve what they want out of life is Thad’s main focus. He utilizes a combination of wealth management tools that incorporate a wide range of investment vehicles and strategies aiming to maximize tax efficiency and allowing for optimum flexibility for his clients

Thad is a committed member of the Topeka Baptist Church and volunteers with several faith-based organizations that minister locally and around the world including: the Topeka Rescue Mission, CRU, TEAM, Family Life Ministries, Harvesters, AWANA Clubs International, and others. Thad also loves classic cars and is currently restoring a 1964 Chevy Impala SS.

Thad works in Topeka, Kansas while residing ten miles south of the city in the small town of Auburn with his one and only wife of twenty-eight years, Michelle. They have ten children together – five boys and five girls – ranging in age from eighteen months to twenty-two years old. They are proud of each one of their children and their current place in life. They enjoy ministering to others in various ways, playing sports, being outdoors, watching movies, and trying to keep their home intact amid the constant activity. Their family has two cats, one dog, nine chickens, and a variety of wildlife that make their land home.
