Thomas Lee

Tommy Lee is a Vice President and Branch Manager at Smith Moore who has more than three decades of experience in the financial services industry. He provides his clients with results-focused guidance on how to build investment portfolios to achieve their long-term financial objectives. His disciplined and detailed approach coupled with clearly explained and regular client updates has been instrumental in building lasting successful personal investment relationships based on mutual respect and trust.

For most of his clients, he serves as a retirement income planner who works to help them achieve a “work optional” lifestyle. Tommy works closely with his clients to determine the amount of capital that they will need to accumulate to retire comfortably and develops customized, goals-based investment strategies designed to help them retire in their desired timeframe and maintain their desired lifestyle in retirement. He also assists in managing all aspects of his clients’ transition from working to retirement, such as balancing the need for a predictable cash flow and the desire to leave a legacy.

Tommy is proud to work for a firm that prides itself on always striving to deliver a higher level of client care and putting clients’ needs before its own. This client-first approach has been a guiding principle at Smith Moore for over a century.

Prior to joining Smith Moore Tommy was President of PriorityOne Financial Services and an OSJ Principal at Raymond James. He previously worked as a Financial Advisor at American Express Financial Advisors, a predecessor firm to Ameriprise Financial. Tommy graduated from the University of Mississippi.

He and his wife of more than 30 years, Judy, live in Mendenhall, MS and have three beautiful daughters and four wonderful grandchildren. Away from the office, he is active in his community and the First Baptist Church, Mendenhall, serving on various committees. Tommy is an avid supporter of Ole Miss sports teams and enjoys traveling, spending time with family and golfing in his free time.
