Doug Nachman has focused on protecting and preserving his clients’ wealth while planning for a tax-efficient distribution of their assets since 1989. He shares the company’s philosophy of providing excellent client service with a personal touch.
Doug’s time with Smith Moore has spanned over 30 years. He was elected to Smith Moore’s Board of Directors in 1992, named Vice Chair of the company in 1995, and was named CEO and Chair of the Board in 2000. He has since relinquished these management titles to spend more time working with his clients.
Doug earned a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Indiana University and holds the Series 7, 24, and 65 Securities Licenses. He lives in St. Louis with his wife of over 30 years, Susan. Doug maintains an active lifestyle by playing tennis, golf, and pickleball.
